right so licing in cali has a lot of drawbacks when it comes to performance enhancing parts, specially when you talk about force induction. has anyone done or comptiplated swapping the 2.0 AEG for a newer 2.0T? thoughts, concerns, advice, drawbacks, all feedback is welcome. good to be back on here, been a while!

Just buy a new car. It's been done but it's not worth it. It's not a drop-in swap like another MK4 engine would be, that's for sure,

after looking, it appears i have answered that question. and as always its a matter of how much are you willing to spend. it also appears that, if the engine is stock, then the 6 speed isn't going to do much anyways....
