Lunch with MD locals

I didn't realize there were so many beetle people around here. I just saw the pix from the June gtg. How cute! And I work in Silver Spring too, well used to. I'm up in Columbia and will be teaching in Gaithersburg come august so I'll have to join you guys sometime!

Depends on whats going on with me. I think that weekend my parents are having a yardsale I have to be home to help with...and one of the weekends after that I could be going to NJ with my boyfriend and his parents. Not sure when I'll be around but I would definately want to if I'm available!

Like I said, this is not formal, it's supposed to be last minute and spontaneous. If you'd like to come, that's great. If not, that's ok too. I just wanted to get some people together, hopefully we can get a couple new people out too


edit: whoops, forgot this Saturday I'm going to the O's game. It's Brian Roberts bobblehead night!! I always go super early to watch batting practice, so I would need to leave by 1:30 or 2:00. Maybe we could try a different day, or you all could still go and I can just stop by? Whatever. But someone needs to give a little input here too, I'm not gonna go have lunch by myself.

I just got back from a week in Cape Hatteras on the Outer Banks, so what did I miss? I'm donw for just about anything!

I am going to plan another more formal GTG for October, but wanted to wait for the month to actually get a little closer

Jerre, I can't do the end of July, there's a show up in PA Why don't you go to the Events area and try to organize something?

Matt (VW2.0Driver) and I are working on getting the DC New Beetle Club running, but have come to a halt recently trying to figure out different sites and servers and such. Whenever we're done with that, we can use that area to discuss some local GTGs and hopefully have them more often.

The show is in York, PA at some VW dealership. It's called the Summer Sizzle, just some small thing
