Default NBeast goes to Virginia International Raceway

On Saturday, October 7th, NBeast attendees are invited to go to Virginia International Raceway for a day-long racing and fun event for the whole family!

Britt will lead a caravan from Durham to VIR (a one-hour drive) through some beautiful countryside. We're partnering with Porsche Club of America which is hosting a tent at the race.

Tickets include admission, food, and drink and are $30 for the day. In addition to the custom car and bike show at the race, you get a free Porsche car show, too!

Tickets can be purchased with your NBeast registration until September 15th. After that tickets are available at the gate at VIR. More information on the event here.

Quick question. Are we going to have access to the track, as in drive on it? Is this a time-trial event for the Porche club and are they allowing non-club members access?

Or, is this just a spectator outing? Moving car shows are way cool as well.

Thanks......TechnoTrix'd......

I don't *think* the track will be available because there's a grand am race going on that day. but i'll ask britt to weigh in, he's the expert...

Looking at the schedule the only on track option for the public is the "Tarzan's Lap Battle" on the patriot course at VIR. I don't see any parade laps during this event. This is a pro race, not a PCA event, the PCA is just having a tent, and NBeast is joining them...

VIR's outdoor kart track will be running, I'm definitly going to do that.

Full info on the GT Live Tour's VIR event is at :

If you want to do a track day at VIR I highly recommend going with the First Settler's region PCA. I took my 1.8T back in May and it was a blast...

Thanks Britt. I've run at VIR before, and we "hoping" that the PCA club was having a track day.

Hey GT cars are wicked fast and fun to watch too though. Highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen road racing up-close before.

When in doubt, step on the gas...;-)
