Northern Virginia/MD Holiday GTG 12/17/06

Hey Everyone
We normally have a Christmas/Holiday gtg every year and time has slipped by too quickly this year. So my husband works at Lindsay VW in Sterling, VA, and they've offered their place for our gtg! I know it's late notice but if anyone can make it, it'll be fun! We figured we could all bring a dish to share, eat, hang out, check out all the new VWs.... We can park inside in the service lane too. So let me know or post if you can make it and what food you want to bring (if you know)! If you have any other ideas or are interested in a gift exchange, feel free to post. It's been a while since we've had a gtg so it should be fun!

A GTG at a stealership is cool, lots more Bugs to check out. Holidays are pretty busy though.

OT: I saw this green Bug once on the way home from work, on Old Bridge road.

I'm in! It'd be kinda funny only to have four people show up though. FWIW, "Gona" kinda knows me... Here are the dishes I can make ...almost decently:

cheesecake
spagetti
chili
ribs (usually only in the summer for BBQs)

I'm thinking cheesecake will be ok?

Aw man...I'm actually heading home to MD that day but I have to get back. I got stuff I have to do Monday morning and have to get situated at my bf's house where I'm staying for break. Otherwise, I would totally go!

Wow~ Thanks for the invite buggirl! I have to check with gravguy but yeah, I think we can make that. Mark ivyTDI and gravguy down as coming - we'll be there in Blue Moon, my 2.0 - he hasn't met the group yet!

ps - we'll bring mom's easy salsa & chips and taco fixings (a recent addition to the recipe - really good too!)
