Dirty Jersey Dubs Chili's G2G 2-24-07 and the ///BAR Cruise to it!

Dirty Jersey Dubs is having another Chili's G2G on February 24. Brooklyn Auto Rennen is cruising out there. We will be meeting up at Canarsie Pier @ 6:00pm, and rolling out shortly thereafter (no later than 6:45), hoping to arrive in jersey by 7:30.

All are welcome to join in the cruise, or if you want to fly solo, all are welcome at the G2G spot.

fyi....if anyone in Jersey wants to ride in with me....we're meeting between 3-3:45 on the south side of Middletown. PM me for directions to the meeting place or to make arrangements for me to guide you there. Should be a nice size crew going. I'll be the guy with the loud intake yelling "wait up you guys" way in the back.

I probably won't be driving out there. I've been under the weather. I may ride along with one of my buddies, though.

BUMP for DJD and BAR

The gtg was pretty damn impressive. HUNDREDS of cars there. Every style of VW you could think of, aside from air cooled. I saw not one air-cooled VW there. However, there were more Golfs and Jettas and GTIs than you could shake a stick at. I was one of 3 NBs there and was kind of sad about it. I did speak to a fellow orger while i was there, but he was the only guy i saw.

I did catch BAR make an impressive showing as i've seen in the past couple years.

Interesting stuff seen:
Two right-hand drive Minis, one pre-production BMW 328i, a nifty and crafty fellow had a plaid cloth hood on a GTI, and tons of other stuff.

I took pictures, but my cam sucks and none came out at all.

Chilis had about a 3hr+ wait time for a table.

I arrived shortly after 5 and left sometime after 9pm. I had a good time as i usually do at these laid back gatherings.

Im so depressed I didnt make it. My friend and I kinda got lost somehow. Dont ask me how......but we were on Rt 1 going the right way, but thought we were going the wrong way and got all turned around. Oh well, next time I guess.
