2007 PNW Annual GTG

Well, we have a winner! The Oregon Coast has become the destination of choice for the annual 2007 Pacific Northwest New Beetle Get Together!

Saturday, July 21st

Meet in Portland BY 9AM, , so we can leave by 9am, and reach Longview at 10.

Jantzen Beach Mall
SE corner, near Ross. A little later start, so Seattle friends don't have to leave at the crack o' dawn.

Seattle area Org members, gather others on your way. Thank you Dragonspirit for your help in coordinating!

Both groups will meet in Longview, drive across the river, ending up in Astoria. Longview meeting place map a few pages up. We will be having lunch in Astoria, or south along 101 somewhere. We'll hit up Seaside, and go to Tillamook for cheese, and ice cream. Photo ops abound!

Please post if you are joining us. Here is the list so far, subject to change. Can we add you?

Ok Guys...Debbie proposed the date of Saturday, July 21st...I think this is a perfect date! I actually think it should be tomorrow, or how about a Wednesday afternoon? *winks at evanrude and dnyed* ANYWHO...come on, let's start getting excited and making plans!

Haha! I am a dental hygienist so I'll definitely be sure to not schedule any patients for that day!

I do, however, think that I would love to see your Cyan Purple New Beetle just a little more than everyone else hehehe...I'm already drooling...there's one that works at my dr's office that I've tagged 3 times...still no response *Cries*

I saw a Snap Orange TDI a few days ago...I thought about cheating on my beetle and then dumping it for the TDI...then I remember how much negative equity I have in it...LOL oh well i LOOOVE my car but I'm so excited to see you guys!!! At least you seem as excited as Debbie and I...Where's everyone else?

I'm excited too for this GTG, done alot of driving on the oregon coast, my parents have a cabin in pacific city... infact that could be a good stop... cape kawanda. the pelican pub and brewery is there, aparently they have some good brew for those who are interested, and their clam chowder is THE BEST.

cape kawanda is on the 3 capes scenic route, and that may be fun to drive, if we're still taking coastal route suggestions.
