You might as well mark your calendars now for the "2007 Circle-City VW Club's Annual Volktoberfest Car Show" to be held, once again, in Brownsburg, Indiana, at Arbuckle Acres Park, Saturday October 6, 2007. Brownsburg, Indiana is just N-W of Indianapolis, IN.

Just a reminder, the 2007 Circle-City VW Club's Volktoberfest is coming up soon - October 6th, 2007, to be exact.

It is scheduled to be held at Arbuckle Park, Brownsburg, Indiana - located west of Indianapolis, Indiana, south of Interstate 74 on Indiana 267.

From the intersection of "Main Street" (US-136) and "Green Street" (IN-267) go north on "N. Green Street" and turn left on
"Park Rd." immediately after crossing the railroad tracks. Follow "Park Rd." west to the park - the park will be on your right.

We will have "Top 20" as well as "Best of Show" awards.

Yet another bump....

It seems that the location that we were planning on hold the event at has double-booked and told us that we will need to find another place to hold the event. We're working on it and hope to find somewhere by the end of this week (8/18/07).

So keep your eyes peeled here for the NEW location of the Circle-City VW Club's Volktoberfest.

As it now stands the new location of the 2007 CCVW Volktoberfest will be at German Park (fitting, eh?) located at 8000 South Meridian Street, Indianapolis, IN (far southside of Indy).

AND....the date has been moved to SUNDAY, OCTOBER 7, 2007.

Best I can tell you is to do a search on a map of your choice (I use and like Google Maps) for the above address and it should give you a real good idea of where the park is located and how to get there.

Me and my familiy are really looking forward to attending, but I want to make sure I check closer to the date to make sure I know where it will take place.

I am looking at a 1991 Corrado for my daughter, but even if I don't get it I have a 2003 New Beetle 1.8 Turbo I can bring.

Hope to see many more new faces this year and for those of you who aren't aware, we will be doing a year long raffle on a VW bug. See the flier and our website for more information. The "Camp Riley Raffle Bug" will be presented to the winner at the 2008 Circle-City VW Club's Volktoberfest.

The interior floor pans have been treated with POR 15 (rust inhibitor).

Just a quick note to any and all of you who managed to find us and come to the show. It was a scorching 90+ degrees that Sunday, but all in all we had a great time and a very good turnout.
