Bug-a-Paluza 9 - Camp Jordan - Chattanooga TN

April 21-22, 2007

This started and is still predominately an air-cooled VW show, but the people are great, and the water-cooled contingent has been growing. RK & I have been looking forward to this show since we left last year.

Can you spot an org member's Bug reflected in my shades?

I don't claim to be a master photog, but I snapped 2 of my most favoritist pics at the show 3 years ago.

The aerial shot was uber-cool as well. Look just above the 'g' for a certain Cyber Green Bubble we all know and love.

Hooking up with big $ sponsors is great for a show. You get access to money and resources that give the show promotion and credibility. The drawback is that you lose control of some of the planning. In the last couple of years of planning SoutherVolksFest, we faced similar issues. In this case, Road Atlanta availability caused Durtyfest to land on the date BAP put on the calendar almost a year ago.

Hopefully in 2008, the second show to schedule will not pick a date already taken, so we can make both shows.

BAP9 was AWESOME! Here's the pic thread to enjoy.

Right on, Glen. They already said they're not gonna make it the same weekend. Lots of people wanted to go.
You guys planning on going to Helen for Souther Worthersee?

If that show is May 12......we'll be in Daytona, so I'll have to check when it is.
