Phoenix Valley gtg JUNE 3RD 2007 feeler thread ;)
So I was thinking we could have a gtg here in Phoenix... I was thinking Sunday June 3rd..
Time and location to be named later... Scroll down to see our choices and post "your two cents" on what you would like to do! Okay I have a few Ideas since I have been brainstorming all morning.
Idea ONE: We can go to WestGate city center, which is the complex where the superbowl will be in 2008 (its beautiful, and has fountians (on a smaller scale) like the Bellegio in Vegas... it is a really nice and beautiful complex to walk around. The Jobbing.com/Glendale arena and the University of Phoenix/ Cardnals statium... it has the Yardhouse, Mo's mexican food... some really fun places, I think even a place thats just dessert food (girls, thats right,chocolate!!!) So that would be a blast, and with plenty of parking... pictures would be easy and great! http://www.westgateaz.com/ Idea TWO: We can go to downtown phoenix.. which would be really easy to drive around in on a Sunday (and I lived downtown for a few years, so I know my way around) and get some fun photos and then eat inside the ballpark at Fridays Front Row. So you are like sitting in the statium eating... there is no baseball game that day, so it would be really kinda neat (Ive done this a few times, and its really cool) http://www.photowebusa.com/fridays/ Idea THREE: (this one is a little pricier, and more complicated) we could meet for breakfast and then cara-bug to Sedona... http://www.visitsedona.com/ Idea FOUR: Or go to downtown/old town scottsdale...http://www.ci.scottsdale.az.us/ I like either idea one or two... just because it would be really fun, easy and not too pricey. I will look into if I can get reservations for fridays front row (they are noramally empty on sundays, I know from living near it) but I will make sure its not closed to a private party. And I will also look into the places at westgate. Anyways, I say Westgate or Downtown Phoenix/Fridays Front Row... Give me your thoughts. |

Here is a link to the Chocolate place (discussed in IDEA ONE)... so that would be a consideration to possibly eat lunch at Moes or YardHouse... go take pictures etc, walk around and go to "Sweet O" or just go to "sweet O" ... Ill have to see what events are going on June 3rd. But here are the links:
