Anyone interested in a WNY/Buffalo beetle gathering?

I adore my new beetle and would love to meet more local beetle owners! Is anyone out there interested in having a get together in the western new york/buffalo area? I think it would be a lot of fun

I'd like that, but my bug is off the road for the summer....I'd have to bring the GLI :-D

Do you know of any other beetle drivers in our area? I have never talked to another one and have only had a few waves. I would think it would be a lot of fun to get some buggies together for a play date.
p.s I just looked at your profile and we have the same birthday! Weird!

wow, same bday, that's nuts! I know there's a few others on here from this area, not sure how active they are though. Might have better luck finding people (not necessarily NB owners) over at Dubs in the Buff

maybe you and i can just sit in the parking lot somewhere, lol, i have looked at the VW association of new yorks website (www.vwawny.org) and am thinking of going to the bugs in the garden in july but i dunno.

I was thinking about going to that one back when I first got my bug, but it seemed to me that there were more (no offence to anyone...) *old* people there. That, and it started too early in the morning for me to get to.
