OC, NY--Summer Loving GTG

Okay~

I'll be hosting a GTG here in Orange County where we are currently living.

It will be during the season hiatus so----sometime in July--- we are still awaiting word on exact dates and length---- 4 weeks would be bloody nice!

We have lots of room in this house---a queen size futon, 3 qn sz air mattresses, and assorted mattreses that can be pulled out of storage.

Dueling gas grills, a very long double driveway for plenty of parking as well as a huggggeeeee back yard---even room for tents to be pitched!

Oh, and a 10 x 20 screenhouse.

Nearby is assorted hotels and campgrounds, but anyone who wants no more than some floorspace and endless grub and bevvies are welcome to crash here.

I know Amy has expressed interest---------so who all wants to come and make my Summer loving dreams come true?

I don't think i've ever been to your neck of NY Dawn. Tentatively count mee in on a visit.

I'm actually heading up to Massachusetts for a wedding in July - depends which weekend, but I may be able to swing a trip. We'll see

Last weekend I think. I'm actually hoping to be in a new job by then too, so things are really up in the air until then. I'll definitely keep my eye on the thread though Did you see the GTG for down here this month? Maybe you can take a small vacation.

Could I bring one or two of my girls with me? All are less then 14 now. End of July 28th/29th would be ideal, but not a show stopper..

I've been to Bill's "Walka-rosa" events in Ohio years past, so this sounds like a similar great GTG to be had by all.

Tents are cool, my family and I are campers, so it should be a good time.

I'll keep an eye on the thread for firmer dates as we move closer to July.

Now, if I could find a club running an open track day at Watkins Glenn around the same weekend, that would be awesome.

By the way, I also have floorspace, so if Dawn runs out of room, my apartment is open. I live about 20 minutes from her.

Do not plan on staying here though if you are allergic to cats and/or do not take allergy medicine for this problem. I have a cat.

Well--okay, that just sounded wrong.

We went to NH late Fri night-- got back late last night with another u-haul truckload ( why do we have sooo much bloody stuff? ) and I went shopping at the NH State Liq store and Poppy came home with a boot full of delights.
