what night did you get ???????, i decided that since it was a waste of a day to travel 1.5 hours to get there , that instead we would go on from amarillo to tucumcari on wednesday night instead, then meet up with earl and the rest from amarillo on thursday and hit roswell all together ,so it saves a nights stay in amarillo adds a night to roswell
not sure if earl changed the blog or not , hope this didnt screw up the plans too much

some are staying ammarillo wednesday nite the rest of us are heading on into tucumcari on wednesday

I think that one of our DFW guys got one of those vouchers - he's really excited, don't know if he will go with me to the Route 66 meet up or with another group.

BTW - I'm at the Hampton Inn this year....loved it last time I was there.

Greetings,

My first post here after buying a 2003 NB TDI last weekend. I LOVE the car! I thought I'd like it but I had no idea I'd fall in love with the darn thing.

I'm seriously giving some thought to making the run to Roswell but it's a darn long way from northwest Washington State (about 1800 miles each way). I'm not sure I can take enough time away from work to make it happen but I'm going to work on it. Looks like Good Times.

Anyway, aside from that, it's nice to be here on the forums.

Carol G. - Pepe Le Pew might be making the trip from Washington, I'll see if I can find a contact and PM you - she emailed me a few months ago saying she's considering it.
