Bug'n in July, Decatur, Alabama/July 14/15

The North Alabama VW Club will host it's
annual charity event, Bug'n in July, on July
14/15, at Point Mallard Park, Decatur, Al.
The show is open to VWs of all ages and types
(as well as the public), and there will be
judging/prizes in both air-cooled and water-
cooled classes. The park is equipped for all
types of camping (tent/trailer/RV), and also
features a golf course, hiking/biking trails,
athletic fields, and a huge waterpark (right
nest to the show site). The show will feature
toy/tee shirt/parts vendors, concessions, an
engine blow, engine and stereo soundoffs, R/C
VW racing (with trophys-electric only, please),
as well as all the fun of Point Mallard, Gates
open at 8AM both days, and the car show's under
the giant Events Pavillion, so rain-or shine,
we'll have a great time. Hope to see you and
your VW there.
