Default 1st Annual Route 66 BBQ Bash

I'm planning for a Weekend GTG here in Kingman. I am aiming for mid July. Any and all are invited. I have been scoping things out as far as places to go things to do.

The more the merrier! I could accommodate lodging if needed.

Let me know what time frame would work for ya!

So far 08 Jul 07 is the date for said BBQ GTG.

Who's in as of 19 Jun 07

Aura & Baldy - Juggbug
Niki & Buggzi - Maybe Nana?
Jerry & Herbie
4 cars & 4 guests in caravan
And 1 mystery guest from Cali

You could plan for it to be the day the Route 66 Tour is coming through.

July 5th.... If you guys happen to come thru in the AM we could catch a late breakfast or early lunch. Having to be to work by 2pm is the only hang up. But July 8th would be good for a GTG BBQ.

I'll see what the masses have to say for that day.

I'll request the day off tomorrow!

You said it's like a 3 hour drive right, Danny?

Yeah, about 3 hours. Maybe less on the driving habits. It would probably be easiest to take the 15 to the 40 in barstow. That's the way I go when I commute to So. Cal.

Hi Niki!

Morning time would work. Heck! Anytime is good with me.

What time are you going to be departing So. Cal. for the return trip?

I was thinking if there was time on the westbound trip we could all meet up for lunch. (But I guess that would be a different thread). Let me know either way.

Jerry, we can caravan out there together if you'd like. I can meet you off the 10 freeway and any of the other Route 66'ers. Maybe Aura can meet up with us too. Danny says it's about a 3 hour drive from his house to mine and I'm a little less than an hour east of LA in Riverside.

Sounds great, Jerry! Granted I'm not so much of a local the closer we get to AZ but I know it's not difficult to get there and it's just the 10 freeway all the way til we hit the border!

Is there a thread with the Cali plans for the Route 66er's? I'd like to meet up with you guys out here too if possible!
