Default Calling all Sierra Foothills Campers

Are there any NewBee owners in the Sierra Foothills/Sacramento area who like to camp? I'm new to the org and would love to get together with others who like to camp/hike/bike etc. with a view to organizing a NewBee camping trip in the Lake Tahoe area. Of course all members, regardless of where you live, would be welcome. Perhaps it could even become an annual thing.

Sounds like fun! My idea of 'roughing it' is no room service though.

Seriously, if we lived closer we would love to!

Well cool . . .there's a few of you out there. I was thinking maybe in September, just a short trip to start - maybe go up on a Friday and home on Sunday? Have you been to Fallen Leaf Lake campground? It's on the Emerald Bay side near Camp Richardson. Super nice, quiet, right near the lake. Perhaps I should post this in the main event section too. Might get the word out. . .

Default Might have to rethink this trip

Well, in consideration of the ongoing fire in Tahoe, I might have to rethink this trip. I will have to think of another place to go. Bummer!
