SoCal GTG at the Drive In movies on Sat. 8/4?

I'll be taking the kids to see Underdog this coming Saturday at the Mission Tiki Drive In Theatre in Montclair. Anyone else who'd like to join us can do so. The show starts at 8:30 PM, and I don't have any idea what 2nd movie they will pair with it. For info on the theatre, check out their website at WWW.MISSIONTIKI.COM

Damn! This sounds like fun!!! I love drive-in's , but I'm going on my first ride-along with the popo, so we won't be able to make it!

Next time though! I didn't even know there were drive-in's left in So Cal! Excellent!

We ended up in Riverside at the Van Buren Drive-In, 26 trucks and suv's total. Turns out there was a reporter from the Orange County Register there doing a story on what few Drive-In's were still around in SoCal, and talked with a few members and myself about how we went there as a club. He also took a bunch of pics. The story is about a week away from being ready for print, but he took my email addy and said he'd let me know when it ran.
While it was fun to see my old truck club again and catch up on things, it would've been nice had it been a bunch of VW's instead!

That's totally cool! I didn't know there was a damn drive in @ Riverside either! WTF?! How do I not know about them! I need to get out more!!!!
