Oh man, look at that map. I grew up in San Bruno, and worked in Daly City, hung out at Fort Funston, and been to Treasure Island.

Next time? This is like the planets aligning themselves during a total eclipse for NorCal. I haven't met ANYONE from the Org yet (though I've come close a couple of times). I can't wait!!! C'mon, I know you wanna go...

C'mon...my wife used to live at Carlmont Village and grew up in the Highlands of San Mateo. You'll have plenty to talk about...

I'm not sure what restaurant that is, I have only been in San Carlos a few years. I grew up in Palo Alto. But I would love to meet you and your wife and talk about the area! Are you from the Bay Area too?

I work for Santa Clara County Airports and that Sunday is Palo Alto Airport Day. It's a sort of open house for the community to visit the airport. We're all going to be really busy that day, so I think I would be in trouble if I asked for the day off! I usually work on Sundays anyway, so hopefully if there is another GTG it will be on a Saturday!

Unless there is any possibility of changing this one to Saturday?

I saw the posting on vwvortex and just registered here. I picked up my '04 turbo S less than a month ago. It just turned an incredibly high 16K miles. I'll probably have to leave in the early afternoon, but that'll still leave me time to peruse the machinery.
