Reno group meets Cali group

Okay everyone here is the plan on March 26th 2006 the local vw club of Reno will be meeting there other chapter in Cali. Whoever is interested in joining up with us that would be great.I will keep you all posted on the exact location of this big event so keep checking back with this post. The more bugs the marier We will all be there at 9:30 am so if you want to park with us we will have spaces for you my treat.

Okay I am leaving Reno with a few of my friends on the 26th and we can stop in Sacramento if anyone wants to go with us from there let me know.

I'm bummed. I'm planning a trip into that area but won't be there until the end of March. Any chance of the GTG happening one week later? April 1st or 2nd?

i am sorry about that but I don't think anything will happen later than that but in July there will be a big VW AUDI car show if you want to come then. I will keep you all posted if there is anything else we might do this coming summer.

Thanks dude, the info will be appreciated. I looked at the GTGs details after I posted. That's when I realized the date was not a changin'. Oh well. I should be able to take more time off from work in late July. I'll keep an eye on the GTG section for a gathering that may fall into my schedule. I love the excuse for a vacation, visit some beetles and thier happy owners.

Andy, not that we don't want you along or anything but there is a NB club closer to you if you do live up north (Alaska). I remember a lady that is in the Pacific Northwest New Beetle Club that joined up with me to meet up with the SoCal NB group in Arizona and she was from Alaska. Her car was Pepe Le Pew, a sweet Turbo S. I think they usually have regular outings about this time of year. Check'um out. It's a pretty good size club!

I just went and looked at their website, and it looks like they haven't done a thing for about a year. You may just want to contact them though. See if they're doing things on the DL.

GD, Thanks. I just took a peek at the website and didn't see much listed but will contact them for potential GTG's. I am in Anchorage, AK which is a bit out of thier area but one never knows. I figured I would keep an eye on a few club sites to see if something falls when I could plan a vacation. It would be a blast to attend even if I'm not in my own car.

Pepe Le Pew is actually from Washington state. The PNWNBC is kinda defunct, unfortunately. We haven't done anything as a group in quite awhile now. It was great while it lasted though. Most of us hang out here now.

Ohmigosh! I do. Sorry. I'll call you later today. I got your message during a few real hectic days and didn't have a chance to call you back. Then my pea-brain forgot about it. I swear if I don't put a note to myself in my PDA to do something, it's gone outta my head. Zip!
