for those of you who are not familiar with NBeast protocol, here is an example of correct finger monster placement:

lisa,

nice to see the finger monsters are still a part of NBeast

(my old ones are in the Maisto NB on my desk at work).

I'm looking forward to attending! Bummer I can't come until Sunday - the drive in thing sounds really neat. Should arrive in Durham around 8am.

Unfortunately any washing I do to Kiki will be destroyed on the trip. It's supposed to rain here this weekend.

Is there a prize for dirtiest bug?

Darth VW's in the shop. 120k service turned into a semi-nightmare. They needed to replace the glow plugs and one of them was fused to the engine block, so they have to take the cylinder head off, drill the old plug out, repair the threads, then put everything back together again. Not expecting to get the car back until next week, with a total bill nearing $3000. At least he's paid off

Hope everyone has fun. Take lots of pics!

Thanks Warren. Part of that $3k is the timing belt replacement which needed to be done anyway at 120k, but it's still painful. Since Christiane couldn't go to NBeast anyway and we're down to one car, I'm stuck. So have extra fun for me
