Here's a schedule of the events of race week.
The 2005 Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix was a roaring success with records set in attendance and fundraising. The draw of the Grand Prix continued its steady growth during the 2005 Race Week. Several highlights include: - The Black Tie & Tailpipes gala broke both revenue and attendance records, bringing in over $20,000.00 for our charities and providing a charming evening for a record 237 participants. - PVGP Historic Races, held at the BeaveRun MotorSports Complex in Beaver Falls , leapt in racer participation this year – 142 cars blasted through the countryside compared to last year’s attendance of 60. - All race winners were pleasantly surprised by the addition of the Crown Royal Winner’s Circle at both BeaveRun and Schenley Park, where trophies and bottles of Crown Royal were awarded. Additionally, the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix is pleased to announce the 2006 Race Week Schedule and honored to name Jaguar as the 2006 Marque of the Year. Jaguar returns for the third time as our Marque of the Year, and the PVGP promises to have a pride of the cats on hand.
