We believe you're going to thoroughly enjoy what we've got in store for our 2006 Festival. Based on all the input we've received from our entrants over the past 12 years, we've decided to make some changes to our event. Each and every participant will have the opportunity to help us all select the Best of the Best. That's right, we've giving trophies to the best of the best in 26 different categories. AND, as a participant of our 2006 Event, you get to help us judge the entries. There will be special awards given for some very special cars.

Nestled atop the upper Arkansas mountains rests the picturesque and tranquil community of Eureka Springs. Often visited for the therapeutic healing powers of its underground mineral springs, Eureka Springs now plays host each year to one of the largest 3 day Volkswagen event in the Midwest.



Held every year on the 4th weekend in August, this Volkswagen event hosts a BBQ Cookout for all pre-registered participants, Saturday VW Car Show and Swap Meet, including an afternoon Volkswagen Parade through rustic city streets of Eureka Springs. Our three day event concludes on Sunday with a countryside VW tourcade through some of the most scenic areas of Northern Arkansas you could ever hope to see.

I've heard this was a blast in the past, but for some reason no one in our club went last year, rumor was that there was no watercooled catagories.

Is this true? Are there no catagories we can enter in?

I heard the same thing. I'll try my hardest to be there but college starts around the same time so we'll see. I would love to see Trixie up close though.

My mother and I are driving down for this. We have always wanted to go, but just haven't had time with it being at the start of the school year! Eureka Springs is beautiful, but will be even better with all of the VWs!
