Default Big Chief Tire, Jacksonville, FL

I was shopping for new tires, and when I finally found the rubber that i wanted, i started shopping around prices. The tires were Sumitomo HTR Z III's in a the stock size of 225/45/17's. Here is the short list (from memory).

TireRack: shipped to a installer, mounted and balanced $488, $122 a tire
Tire Kingdom: hopefully you are sitting down for this M&B included $725 181 a tire
Big Chief: ordered through them, mount and balance $500 a tire $125 a tire

I took my car to see them around 10 on saturday morning (4/12/08), and they were really nice, great price and pretty quick, and very helpful. I also got a 4 four alignment for 69.99, when they usually only do alignments with an appointment, they put it on the rack and did it.

If you are in Jacksonville, FL or surrounding areas, and need new tires, look no further than Big Chief. I went to the one are Arlington Expressway, coming from Regency going towards town.

BTW: If you are looking for new tires, the Sumitomo's are really a good tire, and you cannot beat the price. I believe that TireRack had them listed at 95 dollars a tires. I drove them harder than i could my old tires (dunlop fm901's) and I can attest, that they are super sticky. Great Tire, Great Price, and you are rotate them.

Good to know. I usually just hit up Discount Tire and have good service, too.
