Thumbs up Ed Carroll Motor Company - Fort Collins, CO

I would like to post some positive feedback for my dealership in Ft. Collins, CO. I bought my Beetle from them in November 2004. The salesman I talked to was Chris and he is not there anymore. Very low-pressure, knowledgeable, and just really nice. I forgot the names of the guys in parts but they are extremely nice and knowledgeable also. The guys in service are Ryan, Shannon, and Fred. I like all of them - they know I like details so they are always sure to leave lots of notes on the service order, especially if they're not there when I pick up my car. I have had a few issues with them - one time my dash was scratched after service. Shannon was very apologetic and he immediately ordered the parts and it was fixed.

Daisy's turbocharger failed last month and it was replaced under warranty. Before my car left the dealer, the CEL was already on for the oxygen sensor. When I took my car in this week for the airbag sensor recall, Shannon was again sorry they hadn't replaced the oxygen sensor when the turbo failed and immediately ordered it and they will replace it in a few days.

So I've had a few problems with them, but they've been few and always fixed right away. I would recommend Ed Carroll to anyone.

Nice write up Cori. Not all dealerships are bad. Yeah, they can be costly at times, but for the convience factor, it's sometimes worth it. Thanks for the good news

Hi Al. Yes I thought I would post my .02 - not all dealers are from hell! When my mom drove me back to the dealer to pick up my car after getting the airbag sensor replaced, the receptionist had Daisy waiting for me before I could even get out of my mom's car!! It was funny looking over and seeing her sitting there. I thought maybe she saw me coming and came to meet me.

Okay, maybe I'm a little crazy...

Interesting!! I wonder which Beetles they are putting those on. They are doing quite well in this economy. Their Jetta TDI loaner has bright green letters declaring it is the "Green Car of the Year"!
