Default Growler gets two thumbs up!

Did a timing belt and waterpump service on Rodney today. He was very patient with my cranky 2.0, and went out of his way to fix a tapped out bolt, deal with us being late, and went over him to see what other parts are worn out and needed replaced.

Very honest about what he is and isn't comfortable doing. Also replaced the v. lines, and the CEL finally went out. Found issues with previous timing belt job and repaired them. Rodney is running better than he has in two years. `Rate very reasonable.

Aaron's work is worth the drive. Aaron, if you want another dub to work on Sunday or Monday, just say

Thanks Beej!

It was awesome to get to see you and Ollie again. its been way too long!

I was sure glad that I noticed the timing on the cam was one tooth off, and
glad that you were blessed to not have your motor fall out of the car with how losely the bracket-to-block mount bolts were installed.

these items got corrected today and you should be good to go for another 80k miles or so!

just gotta get those new motor mounts bought and I'll be glad to replae those for you as well.

I was also impressed to see a plastic impellered waterpump in one piece after 80k miles of use.

Rodney takes good care of you, in spite of some of the issues he has. I know you treat him well.

Aaron

he helped with my timing belt too. along with Tom and Don and some other non-orgers. VERY reasonable rate and his wife makes the best cookies. and i love kids. we need to get together again sometime. maybe when i do a turbo upgrade. he is really a blessed guy who would do anything in his power to pass along the blessing.
