Angry AM Autoparts

Bought a new headlight from AM Autoparts. Should have known that the reason it was cheap was because it had no bulbs! SO I had to disassemble both the old and new in order to get the bulbs to install, which was a bitch. So, caveat emptor. It was a pain in the ass, it would have been so much easier if there were bulbs in it already.

Um... If I'm not mistaken, it only takes ~30 seconds to change the bulb in a Beetle's housing once it's taken out. (I know, I had to do it like 4 times while I had my Beetle.)

How cheap were the headlights?

Default changing headlights

They were $81.00 each, just got one. It just takes a few seconds to change the bulb, but not knowing what I was doing, I took the lens part off, and I had a hard time getting it lined up back right. And getting it back in just right is hard too. I hooked it up back right but one of the bulbs is not working, it may have just blown or something. Taking to the garage Mon.

You took the lens off? Like, the big clear front thing?

I don't think that "user not know what they're doing" is a very good reason for a bad review. Just my $0.02.

81 dollars is a very good price for a new headlight housing.

EDIT: I should also have mentioned in my first post to this thread that a headlight bulb is only something like 5 dollars, which is not going to make a huge change in the cost of a headlight housing one way or another.
