Completely terrible, I can't believe they would not work with you. 2 days use and then it craps out. I bet the shipping was expensive also. I'd recommend MJM autohaus. There is alot of other vendors out there besides ecs. I'm not sure what there warranty is on MAFs, but they usually have better prices. Amazingly I live about 1500 miles from MJM but the shipping is cheaper and faster than ECS (about 100 miles away). Thanks for the "heads-up", I'll be staying away from ECS. |

. I called and asked for a exchange not even return and the manager denied. Unfortunately we learn from our mistakes. They just lost a good customer. Thanks for the info I will take a look into them.Last edited by Orangebuggie; 03-15-2010 at 11:11 PM.. |

That's a standard practice of just about any parts store--no warranty on electrical parts--too easy to mess them up if your car has other issues. Some of the big chains operate a little differently though--I think Autozone, for example, would give a 1 year warranty on that--at least they did when I bought a crank position sensor for my truck. ECS really should have offered you something though, maybe another at cost w/ free shipping? Anyway, I've done business with ECS for several years now. Now they're big boys and it seems the personal end of the biz may suffer, however, I am still 99% satisfied with all my ECS dealings and will continue to be a customer.

. I mean what could have gone wrong in one day to really mess up a MAF? Theres no humidity in miami, intake was removed off the car before new maf, car uses 93 octane, has new OEM filter. If it lasted almost two days then comeon it wasn't in good condition. |

I thought that Miami was second only to New Orleans to humidity? I've never been there when it hasn't been.
Mail Order electrical parts NEVER have a warranty... not as far as I've ever seen that is. |

Im just warning the people before buying an electrical part from them thats all, don't want them to end up the same way I did. Its just that I didn't read the fine print(tiny hidden letters that screw people over) and should have bought it somewhere else. As far as humidity, none here these days, been very dry.

Weird on the ECS MAF though. Did you order an OEM one from ECS?
