Question Is this a good deal?

Can you guys tell me if I should buy this beetle or not? It's campanella white with a white interior and sunroof, very low mileage here's the info, the only bad thing is that its got a SALVAGE TITLE. Should I stay away from salvage cars altogether? Please help! Thank you!

Well if it has a salvaged title you would need to know why it is considered salvaged and I would not take the dealers word under any circumstances; ask for the salvage paper work that shows what was done to fix it and the name(s) of the previous owner(s).

Seeing how you have the VIN, run a carfax report. Keep in mind that carfax info is exactly that, it is just information and not a "certainty" that this car OK and will not be a pain in the arse later.

Better yet go to the VW dealer and have them run the VIN... I would not buy it if you cannot find out why it was salvaged... Too much money for a salvage anyway...

Whenever I see "salvaged" red flags go up everywhere. Be very cautious with this one... I wouldn't pay so much for any year car if it says salvaged.
