I have about 6 or 7 purcahses from ECS. All have been excellent transactions. In one transaction, UPS dmaged the part. ECS shipped a repalcement immediately & stood by me during the dmage claim. +3 onthe problem is with this buyer, not ECS. 1 happy cmaper here.

The only thing what I can complain with ECS that they do not answering requestes for parts. I sent them 4 times an email ref. parts but they didn't reply - I found another company who sold me the parts - byebye ECS...

Default Shorted Circuit vs Open Circuit

It seems when one talks about a failed electrical device its always called "shorted". It could be an open circuit too. Hope these diagrams, although crude, help to explain the difference between a shorted and open circuit.

Hey Buddy, haven't read the whole thread, but...

You think "they" will get it...

Btw - great drawing, simple way to explain it!

I also got confused reading your posts . Is it possible that you don't have a clue what you are talking about?? Also , just a stupid question - why would you buy a brand new aftermarket bumper and then cover it up with a bra??? You would have been better to buy the bra and install it over the stock bumper . No one is going to see it anyways . Its possible I don't know what I am talking about , either , but I doubt it!! I have to say I haven't ordered from ECS before , but I don't blame them for not being overly helpful after hearing how you have been dealing with them . Let me guess - you called them up screaming and yelling and calling them idiots , and expect them to be calom and cool . Sorry , but it doesn't work that way . To see crap likie this go to court seems so silly to me , and takes away court time from cases that are actually serious!!

I've ordered from them many times now in addition to buying a complete Votex (not vortex ) kit and had everything shipped to Canada without a single issue.

If you are planning to sue them it would probably be a good idea to learn how to spell their company name correctly at least

IMO I don't think it will be worth your time. Maybe sell your bug?

I'd say if you spend around 4 to 5 g's on a good lawyer you shouldn't have a problem getting your $800 back.
But that's just me
