These threads should probably be in the feedback section, just as an FYI.
I know I've heard of them but I've never bought from them.

I had two orders, which were fine...Phone assistance was cordial.
BTW, I bought the afformentioned meep-meep horn, but didn't use it long. It was too quiet to be practical in an emergency situation.

I've ordered several things from them, about 5 years ago - seat covers, the classic Beetle horn, and a dash cover. The custom seat covers are well made and have protected my cloth seats very well. The only minor problem was that there were no holes for the headrests so my dad helped me cut into the fabric without tearing. The horn is extremely loud and I love it!! The dash cover is practical, well made and has preserved the not so durable Beetle dash.
![]() Shipping was my only complaint - took about 2-3 weeks to receive my stuff. I have not ordered anything from them recently.

I must say I have ordered from them also in the past. I do admit that the customer service was lacking, but they will deliver AND the stuff is good quality.
ALSO, if you would search TVA on this board there are a few threads that will tell you that they are unreasonably slow. For Example: Has anyone had a problem with ordering products from TVA??? This really is NOT new news. Last edited by Yello_jellybean; 04-18-2011 at 01:45 AM.. |

Not sure if Randy is still running TVA anymore or not. I've purchased items both in their store and on-line.
With the on-line orders, delivery time was slow. Having visited the store, it's more like someones garage then a retail place. But the people were always good to deal with and have been part of the NB scene from day one. Randy took delivery of the first NB shipped to Cali in 98. Just my 2 cents.

"NOTICE: Do not order anything of immediate need from us. We are unreasonably slow at billing and shipping and you will be waiting quite some time for your purchase." ![]() But seriously, in today's world of online commerce, 2-3 weeks is really unacceptable. Heck, 2-3 DAYS sometimes is too slow! |

I ABSOLUTELY get what you are saying. I have been miffed about the service I received from them also. I really think they need to step up and realize.... Number 1... The stuff they sell CAN be purchased elsewhere. Number 2..... The prices they have on their merchandise is NOT always the best around. Number 3..... A little communication goes a long way. AND FINALLY... Number 4...... An apology for any inconvenience may lessen the pain, and help get a customer to return. I am sorry that you had to go through this. ![]() |

I've purchased quite a few things from them over the years, and never had a single issue.

I've never had a problem with TVA either. Like so many other small businesses that are trying to keep overhead to a minimum, Randy is at the mercy of his suppliers. To his credit, Randy is one of the only places still around that still sells NB stuff. And, he actually has a New Beetle.
On that note, yello_jellybean is right, a little communication (and order updates) go a long way.

No complaints from here either but haven't ordered anything in years... like 6 years to be accurate. Things may have changed but if it's still Randy's baby I can assure you he DOES in fact care. He WILL make it right.

yeah like kirk said , hes a guy trying to get stuff from suppliers and these days new beetle stuff is like buying edsel parts , in fact edsel parts are probably easier to get , but randy is a top notch guy and has always taken care of me when i got info or parts from him ,
