Yep me two. I removed my name from their New Passat list and put it on the nb2 list. Told John that I would want to drive both the 2.0l turbo and the diesel models. So just waiting for them to arrive. Btw the diesels will be the last models to hit the lots. The Passat is running into the same issue with a prioritization of engine production at VW. So might have to wait a little for the TDI's verses the 2.0l Turbos.

Hi all
Just ran into this snippet from Autoblog: "New York 2011: Every new VW Beetle will be a second-generation design" Hopefully they will smooth off all the chamfered edge accents and take us back to more homogenous "356" design sensibilities while they are at it. Also, lets just hope they go the whole hog and base the next one on a simplified 911 chassis using the imminent flat 4 engine being readied for the new Porsche "entry level" speedster, Boxster and 911. Then the circle would now be complete! ![]() VWWerk

I have to wait until 2015. My daughter will then get my 2000 GLS at high school graduation. The waiting lists will be gone by then, plus I'll have saved enough to buy one for cash. Rather than a brand new one, I'll probably buy a '13 or '14 model with low miles. I'm undecided on diesel or just a 2.5 gas version. (I don't need a turbo).

I think we'll be holding out for a convertible. I'm keeping my Red Rock. Hopefully they'll get some kinks worked out of the system by the time the verts roll off the assembly line.
