I'm thrilled the vert doesnt have a white top. that darn boot is hard enough to keep clean and with all the ups and downs and creasing of the top, dirt would settle real quickly in white creases. that would take the car from classy to gross real quick.

Hey guys! Found some more info on the 3W sedan. Here is a picture. It does have a spoiler and a triple white decal below the mirror. Very cool!

Well, as a Triple White vert owner, I can say I'm a little ticked off about that decal. I spent a ton of money on my car and got it in may of 07, just a few weeks after they were released. I did a lot to get this car and it cost more than the "sedan" will.

I want that decal!!!!

/me starts searching

VW's pathetic attempt to get rid of surplus white paint and leatherette. The spoiler's white? Whooptie doo!
My spoiler's red. Does that mean I have a 'double red'? Hell no!

VW designed it, built it, and now intends to sell it. They can call it any damn thing that they want to. It's still cool looking, and if I didn't have a new W3 nbc, I'd hop all over it.

So many critics.....so little talent.

Oh, and as for such little talent, go back to one of the original triple white vert threads and you'll find just as much criticism.

LOL...I'm sure.

BTW...As cool as the vert is, there are still many people who are better suited with a HT. For me, it's marginal....the sunroof offers an easy access to the "above". The trunk is ever so much more usable on the HT. The blind spot is smaller, the security factor is better, the cost is certainly more likable.....but that top-down feeling is soooo cool.

I have an 07 Wrangler Unlimited with a HT, so the NBC can stand to have it's lacking features and still be quite usable for us.

Most people who go into buying a beetle convertible do not go into it for the practicality of the car. My first convertible, I had no idea how little space there was, but I was 24 and didn't really care too much about it.

The triple white I got ONLY because it was the special edition and i had to have it...and I'll admit that. I went to a ton of dealers to try and get out of my first lease a year early. It was a 2 month long project getting me into this car and I finally found a dealer 250 miles away from me that was willing to do what I needed them to do.

That being said, I didn't get this car cause it was practical. I figured, I'm still young and will have the car until I'm 31. At that age, I can get something more practical. I live in NY, with horrible winters. A white car with white seats was hardly the way I should have gone. As it is, I'm stressing cause the car looks so gross right now and I have no way to make it look better.

If you're getting a HT beetle for the trunk space, I don't recommend getting the triple white. I hate putting stuff on my white seats. They mark easily and then cleaning them is a PITA.

A white car with white seats is hardly practical, whether hard top or soft.

I've owned well over 300 different cars, and about half of those have been white, and about a dozen or so have had white interiors. I find white to be resonably easy to keep, and being married to Mrs Clean, the interior stays great! LOL

Most Americans buy their cars based on OTHER than practicality. But....not ME, of course.

well then you got lucky. My white seats are a PITA to keep clean. They mark just from the windblocker. I have a tie-dyed tapestry over the back seats just to keep them from getting marked. Not to mention, the seats turn yellow with the oils of your skin.

That being said, try finding a cleaning product thats gonna make them truly white again. I use Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. The white boot is a nightmare and I've given up on that. I clean it when I put it on the car and after 5 minutes it's dirty again.

How long have you had your triple white? I've had mine since May....I'm now experiencing a true winter which is KILLING it. I can't wait for spring so I can clean him.

Hmmmmm....We only bought it a couple a months ago. I've never really had dirt/grime problems on any other cars, so I'm hoping for the same here. Maybe I'll be surprised, but if it pees me off too much, I'll just trade...LOL. We had 5 new cars last calendar year, so it won't really be out of character for me.

All HT trunks, regardless of the color of the interior have black/grayish carpeting in the trunk. So no worries there. If people want the HT 3W for trunk space, cleanleness back there wouldn't be a problem.

The 07 triple white is also a limited edition with only 3000 made and I think 1000 of them are now in Cheyenne Wyoming. I wish I would have kept my 2004 sat. blue it was the only one in town! Why do you think they are making a hard top triple white maybe because the 07 sold so well or not? I love mine but I don't love the fact that there are so many in my little town. We don't even have a dealership in town. The 07 was to be a 25th year celebration because of the all white beetle that was triple white 25 years ago. The 08 would mean what then? Very odd to me!!
