Well. I'm back. Traded my Laser blue 07 5sp for Campenella "3W". Loaded. Got A decent deal...really wanted this car. Some say marketing ploy, leftover parts....whatever. This car is really nice and for some reason has a more solid ride than my 07. I like the fact that it's different but not "flashy. I also like that it really hauls but with the tiptronic in manual mode. Now my wife and I can both drive it.
(I better change that avatar now that "Eddie" is gone)

Since I didn't read all the posts in this thread this may be redundant, BUT while at was at the dealership this afternoon, I saw posted on a wall a recall for these cars. something to do with a spoiler on the back window may fly off while driving due to some faulty glue.
Just thought I would pass the word on. You guys probably already know this, tho.

i know what you are talkin about but when i saw one at the LA auto show it said 2009 so i dunno...but wow they are certainly pretty...one way to tell its a triple white is under the side mirror where the turn signal used to be for the 2000-2003 is a bold W with a 3 inside it if you get what i mean

I decided that white really isn't for me. But that white one on the lot was that special edition and it did look quite classy.... You traded your 07? I hope you got the 0%. Car sales are really working with buyers these days.

Mine stays outside, the Jeep is in the garage (another story). I did not pay 24; paid 1000 less than that including floor mats and tax and so on. As for 0%, that's for verts only. I got a good rate through VWOA. I really like the car a lot. I'm getting a real 30 mpg combined, and it's not even broken in yet. The automatic is great and shifts faster than I could do with a standard.

I haven't had beetle envy in quite a while - as I've been content with Kiki. But every time I see one of the triple white's out on the road - I'm half tempted to run to my dealership and buy one.

we looked at beetles for 3 days and then the triple white came in on a truck the 3 day and we said thats the one we want...
4 other people got in it when we were doin the paperwork so i went out there and locked the doors ... i talked to 2 of them and they said its the purdest on the lot ...     Last edited by gr8hntr; 05-21-2008 at 08:23 PM..

I saw a 3W Vert today, but it had a black top and no emblem under the mirror. I know normally it wouldn't be 3W, but it had the beetle embossed in the seats...

I saw my first 3W Saturday. It is definitely a sweet ride! This owner was stoopid, though, at least in my opinion. She had the daisy rims on it! Ugh! I like the daisy rims on the yellow colors, that's it! They looked really dumb on the triple white! Besides the rims, though, very nice car!

theres 3 for sale in my town... theyve been for sale for about 4 months now... no one is buying them. i tried to convince my grandma that she needed it but nope... no takers. Quite sad. So pretty! If i could afford another beetle i would buy it!!

Oh yeah, a great looking Beetle..Makes me envious and wanting to get out to my dealer and buy one no matter the cost..A few months ago I came real close to buying a Triple White convertible..
