Default FS: KILLER SWAP - R32 Engine Assembly with harness and ECU

We have an R32 with 7K miles, it runs excellent (as expected with only 7K miles on it). We have video of it running, see below.

This would be a sweet swap into a Beetle. We also have a complete drivetrain in the event that you want to get totally insane and do an AWD swap.

Price is $6500 for this setup that includes ECU, harness, exhaust downpipe, all accessories, etc.

Just for comparison, you can get a Reman. R32 engine for $6600 + $3000 core, plus shipping, or a brand new engine for $10,171 + shipping. Those prices are just for the engine from valve cover to oil pan, no accessories, no exhaust manifolds, engine management, etc.

Just wanted to give everyone a good comparison on our price versus new. You can verify these prices at the dealer (which would be higher), or at http://www.1stvwparts.com which usually sells at wholesale (which is the price I quoted above).

Here are a couple of pics of the engine:

As of right now we have everything except for a good transmission. Here are the price breakdown for the parts, as well as a package deal:

- Engine (7K miles) - $6500
- Trans & Front Haldex unit - $400 (normally $1800)
- Propeller shaft - $200 ($1200 from the dealer)
- Rear diff/haldex unit, axles, trailing arms, etc. - $1750
- Front Axles - $200 each (only have a drivers side at this time)
- Floor Pan - $500
- Front knuckles - $250

Total would be $9800, but as a package, we could do it all for $8000 + shipping

Let us know,
Dean
