Default If you have a Jeep... you may want to see this.

I purchased a Thule "Spare Me" bike rack back in 2002/2003 to carry bicycles on my pop up camper. I have since sold the camper, but didn't want to let a $150 rack go with it since the new owners didn't want it.

So... I would like to offer this to someone who can use it. I'm not looking to profit so $10 plus whatever it costs to ship it to you however you want it.. I can arange to meet you if you are local to the lakes region, seacoast or concord/manchester area of NH.

The one picture in the link appears to be the updated model, little more stylish, few more plastic pieces on the bottom, and mine is square on the bottom.. otherwise the top looks the same. This is gry, mine is gloss black.

Very good condition, nothing broken, but I did shorten the screw which attaches the rack to the tire mount so that I wasn't turning forever. This may make it difficult if your tire is oversized, or you may just need a new bolt. This unit locks on the tire via keys in the screw handle, and can carry 2 bikes quite nicely.

I think I paid like $140 ish for this and it is a solid rack. I have all the paperwork, keys, and even the straps that help secure it should the rack appear wobbly. I found that if the rack was tightened down on the tire snugly, unless your tire mount is wobbly, it won't move.. Plus the tire makes a nice shock absorber.

To mount it you simply remove your spare, install the mount behind your spare, and then reinstall your tire and tighten down the original lugs. If you have a spare tire cover, the mount will not interfere with it. Just unscrew the bolt, then pull off the rack and viola...
