The Bad
Some rust on hatch- Under warranty, but VW has been slow to help us with it.
One headlight out-needs wiring harness or just a new headlight. We can fix this for you for $75 but you will be better off ordering a pair of new headlights (oooh, shiney!) for $130 off of ebay.
Need brakelight bulbs- might be fixed this week, 3rd brakelight wrks.

This car will probably only be for sale until the 12th. As long as you send a deposit before then, we will hold her for you. Please feel free to send us an offer, or stop by and see the car. She has been a juggernaut for us, but I insist we get another diesel and I just miss my orange car so bad so Im sure you beetle folk understand how it goes when you find "The Car". This would make a GREAT first car, I wish there was a beetle like this for this price when I was 16, I tell you what. Daddies? Got a sorority girl at home? Yeah. Yeah, this is your car, dude.

Let me knowwwww!

I'll get a picture of the rust if someone is interested. Its about 3 or 4 inches long, just on the very edge. Really, its not noticeable until you get up on it, and we live in Arizona so.. yeah.

We bought the car in Chicago, hence the rust I think those pics were taken in St. Louis. We moved to AZ in Jan. Its like 87 degrees out today.

I know dudette me too. We've been inches from signing on like four cars in the past week. I figure if somethings stopped me this many times, some Beetle or something is waiting for me to find it. Thats how it was with Lola. Id get close to signing, find something else, find something else, until finally I found Lola.

-rolls eyes- but I dont want to sell Lulu unless my heart is set. We like her too much.

Poor Jim.

Car is for sale again. We have an offer of 4,000 -rolls eyes- so we're entertaining offers above that.

Car has joeymodded headlights and black taillights now too. Ill post some new pics if I ever get unlazy enough to take them.

We had just found out the brakelights didnt work. A jumbled wreck :P but Lulu is technically my car so it doesnt matter as long as he has something to drive. -pats jim- poor Jim. Im waiting for my phone to send my email pictures of the front end. Not that there is raging interest on here anyway -pokes people-

Radiator is busted and we're ready to move into a new car. 4k as it sits, or again, give me offers.. Jim doesnt have a ride to school and we dont have the money to fix it since meineke wont work on beetles and we spent all our tow money getting it to meineke (they failed to tell us they wouldnt work on it even when we told them 1. it was a beetle and 2. the radiator was leaking, and they arranged the tow).. We have a friend who is a VW mech and will put a new radiator in in his garage, cost of new radiator should be somewhere around 300, if you want it fixed for cheaper than a dealer. After we fix it it will be listed in autotrader or something to get it moving, if no biters I might either dump it at the dealership or fix it, havent decided yet. At least it didnt happen to new owners...

...mechanics special.

Thanks dearie.

All the goodies are included to ORG members only. The headrests are for sale to help cushion the blow, and Im taking the molded mats for the Beetle I will buy if fate LETS me. :/

Two people were supposed to come see the beetle today and nobody came. Wasted my whole Saturday morning and part of the afternoon. So I went and test drove a certain little Techno Blau beetle and of course I fell in love. Its the first Beetle TDI that Ive driven that FELT like it was all in one piece. I actually enjoyed my test drive and have already decided that we're dying the upholstery fabric blue (Unless Bree gets a wild hair and decides to trade me for the grey interior which I HATE) and doing the headliner in something cute like bright blue plaid or blue and white polka dots, and we want to go for a retro look.

Of course, this could all change tomorrow. We really need to sell Lolabug. I'll sign the lease without selling her but we will struggle and she will stay bone. stock. and nobody wants THAT.
