Default FS: 16" stock alloys w/ tires

*SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD*

I need to sell my stock alloy wheels. All 4 are in great condition (if you know me, you know I take great car of my car). There is a little caked on brake dust in some - not all - of the corners from the previous owner. No curbage, no bends, one very light scratch on the surface of one wheel.

These come with tires, four all-season Michelins. 2 tires have great tread, 2 are so-so. No nails, no plugs.

These will fit any VW. For the record, they are 16" 5x100.
Asking $300 OBO, no shipping. Prefer pick-up, but will drive a reasonable distance to meet.

Note: the red dots around the VW logo in the center cap are NOT included, these are plain.

Interested, but low on cash. Are these actual rims, or plastic hub cap things that constantly love to wander off my car?

More info on the rubber:

Tires are Michelin Energy MXV4 - tirerack page is here: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....el=Energy+MXV4

As mentioned before, 2 tires have great tread, the other 2 are not as great. Pics are attached, and I'm sorry in advance for the crappy quality. They're in the basement and the light isn't awesome. I can certainly pull them out and do something better if anyone is interested though, but this gives a good idea of what I'm talking about...

I might be very interested. Where are you located? I'm in Virginia.

I recently bought a '99 for my daughter without alloys.

I'm new to this, so I'll look for a reply tomorrow

Gina--I told you I was new--I see you are in Silver Spring, MD. I'm near Williamsburg, so we may be able to work something out.

I'd really like to sell the set, especially since I have 2 people already interested. Sorry Try checking out Vortex, they got a good wheel section. Good luck!

Gina-

Back again--I have enabled PM. For starters, explain the comment about the center caps--what is included, etc.

I'll check back later and tomorrow..

Sorry I'm not familiar with all the features of this sort of forum.

Don't know if anyone will ever read this, but I did buy the wheels and tires from Gina. She described the wheels as being 90%--Gina should work as quality control for Mercedes--they are closer to perfect. I am extremely happy and my daughter is thrilled.

Yep, Gina is definately the Queen of detailing on the Org.

I thought she was going to call PITA on my last Sunday when she saw my dirty pod.... I think if there was a hose near-by, she would have gone right to town and cleaned him up.

Her car is as close to "new" as you can get and still drive it..
