There's no apostrophe before an 's' when you're talking about the plural version of a word. "I took some neat photo's!" is NOT correct.

Is it the actual package tray you need....or the pins that are attached at each side. When I bought my Beetle, I thought the same thing, till I found I could buy the mounting pins for each side. I only needed one side and it was a bear to replace. If not, what happened that you need a replacement package tray?

the hinge is what's broken. the other part of the plastic hinge is still "in" the trunk lid and i have no idea how to get it out. there's nothing to grip to pull out the broken part.

so you're saying i can just buy the hinge?

i'll have to take a drill to it and see if i can somehow get that part out.

callisto9:

I have the part you are looking for and it is in mint condition. I took it out of the car within the few weeks of ownership. It is in a plastic bag just chillin in my closet. Make me an offer?

The "hinges" can be removed. I believe I had to drill mine out for removal. The new one can be a real bear to get seated too, as it needs to be pushed in as far as possible, so that it isn't too wide for the "slot" it fits into. It can be done with some elbow grease.
