Default wanted Pistons

Hello all;
I am looking for a good used set of 2001 2.0 gas injected beetle engine pistons. Would any one happen to have a set to sell? This engine is still standerd bore.
Engine code is AEG if that matters.
Thank you

Do you mean "pistons"? I can edit your title if needed.

I thought the Beetle Engine Pisons were some Italian VW mechanics.

Yes I know, Its all good.
Pistons cost too much. $1000.00 or more. I have decided to make them. I wish I had a CNC machine. This is going to take a little time. Oh well I have more time than money. If I can find a good set of used ones. That would be good. In the mean time I’ll be machining them.

Talking

Can't find them in the aftermarket world. dealer only, and they told me $1000.00 + 8.5% tax for the set. OH They come with the rings too.
The ones I am making are 3/4 done and looking good. If I am Successful I will post pics If I am not I will send a sad note. I have 24 hours in on them now and I think I have 8 more to go. I am making 5 of them one is being used as a set up part, and at this time it is still a good part.

Smile Pistons

I just sent you a email.
Lets talk about them. Your price sounds good to me.
The ones I am making are all most done and look very good but
if I like yours they would be faster to get and my Bug would be back on the road sooner.
I am going to work on these pistons till they are done no matter what. I have to much work in them now to give up on them. I wish I had more time to spend on them than I do to get them done.
