From time to time they are on Ebay but before you start bidding make sure you get a price from the dealership, so that you know where to break off your bidding. Older manuals are apt not to be in the finest condition because it seems like VW overstuffed their binders with too much and people have shoved them into glove boxes, damaging the manuals. Junk yards are another source and here my experience has been they are cheaper; as most junk yards want to move manuals because they are ill equipped to handle paper products.
