Hey all,

Its that time to sell my New Beetle. Sad to see him go, but I know he'll get a loving home!

Anyway my car is a fully loaded (early) 2002. It has 59,600 miles on it and running strong. I have no mechnical issues with it and everything is in working order to my knowledge!

Some mechnical and basic history.
I bought the car used last year in April. Since then i have gotten it the proper oil changes every 5000 miles, tires rotated, and fluids topped off regularly. I have had the CEL on once, for a coolant temp sensor. It used to idle rough and then shut off, but i changed the gas station i was going to, and no more problems!

It has every option you could get for an 02 except the rain sensing wipers and the ESP.
Black, heated leather seats
CD Changer in the back
Power everything
Moonsoon sound system (with installed 12 inch sub)
Sunroof
Automatic

Also has Sirius radio installed professionally inside the car with a neat arm. See photo.

There are no mods to the car except a 15% window tint that really ads a great touch to the car.

Ill include a few pictures, but you'll have to excuse the dirt. Its the first nice day of about 4 or 5 days and i wanted to take the pictures right away. It could be cleaned up and everything will come out wonderfully! I am very anal about my cars and everything is taken care of very well. Seats are conditioned with VW Leather Treatment, the car is washed regularly (usually hand washed) and all mechanical erros or cosmetic issues are resolved immediately. This is one awesome bug!

Last but not least im asking for 11,500 OBO. I currently have a loan on it which if you would like to take over the loan with iQ Credit Union, in Vancouver Washington, the loan is i believe 10,600. I would like to walk away with a little cash however, so i am negotiable on this deal. Kelly Blue Book in "good condition" is $11,555.

I'm not interested, but you forgot to specify what engine you have. Since you dont have ESP, i think it's safe to assume that it's a 2 liter. I hope someone gives it a good home. With good care, the 2.0 will last forever.

Yes its a 2.0. The tires were bought new last april with the bug, they are Continental ContiSprtContacts second series. These things are freaking awesome with really good grip in the rain, or even snow. And the brake pads are new as well on the front since April of last year.

I just purchased a 99' Black 2.0 Gls for $10000.00 but it only had 14532 miles on it. Good luck on the sell! I am sure it will find a good home soon!!

That is a stitch.

He came with the flower on him, so i just plopped him on a stick or pen or whatever and put that into my flower vase.

I am actually keeping this car now, my mom is driving it and i just got my 06 bug so its all good! I have a teddy bear in my new bug, my grandma gave him to me when i left there with my new car...I think the stuffies are more attractive and adorable than a flower...less sneezing too
