Ebay has lots of antenna's.
Not expensive at all.
Simple screw off,screw on.
Some folks suggest putting Loctite on the threads
if your worried about some punk stealing it.

I'm afraid I can't tell you much about
reception because I rarely if ever listen to
the radio anymore.
I plug and my Ipod, play the steering wheel guitar/piano/drum and groove out.

Yes they work fine no noticable reception loss. You can purchase one from Sole Designs in wichita (316)262-5271. I think he sells them for $21.00. Yelojkt is a 2000, and Rubie is a 2006. Easy install. Give Nathan a call he'll be glad to send you one.

Alternatively, ECSTuning.com has a HUGE variety of replacement antennas. All different lengths, shapes, and colors. That's where i got my black adjustable billet aluminum one as seen in my more recent photos.

I always have an antenna ball on mine, and now the antenna is permanently bent. Not bad, but noticeably. I will probably shopping for a shorter, stiffer one, too.

The short antenna's that we have on yelojkt and rubie are solid aluminum. You can put anything on there with no problems.
