99dub has stolen my photo (perhaps he'll replace it with his own soon enough but here is some very interesting info)

Not only did his various IDs got banned on vwvortex BUT his ads on vortex ALSO got blackholed.

A very recent ebay auction he actually already sold his TT wheels and tires? Hmmmm, Is that winning ID one of his own that he created to shill bid again?

NewBeetle org users need to know who he was (for those that don't remember that this is ssevanz, bidi, and stereooptions on ebay that got banned for shill bidding) and countless vwvortex IDs that have been banned.

Thanks James, I emailed him (99dub) asking him about his products and things didn't seem right... I told him that he had some nice looking products, and I was wondering how he had such a nice collection.

I am a very trusting person, but something just doesn't seem right.

on Vortex it even becomes more confusing because ibid and bidi (who is 99dub) are two different?!?!?! people.

PS: ibid: just looking at the feedback on ebay of both you and "99dub", I see a complete difference in feedback... that says something as well.

yes indeed..

It's bad enough I was confused for him on vortex by someone he scammed apparently... and ultimately got my ibid banned off vortex (which is just as well since I didn't want to be associated with his crap)


vortex and ebay seems ripe for scammers now.

I actually had another ID banned on vwvortex just because I pointed out that this one guy's FS ad was replica and NOT oem. (as if I did a very bad shady thing pointing out a technical difference of OEM vs. replica) ...but on vwvortex apparently it's all about who your know and the 'god complex' some of the moderator's there have.


I knew it was the same person and I kept quiet for a while BUT stealing my photo for his own scam sale just burned me up!

Yes, bidi/ssevanz/99dub is located in California, I'm in the chicagoland area. What added to the confusion (IMHO) is that little scammer initially started his bidi vortex ID listing his location as (Hoboken, IL) just to mock me. (I'm the one that reported his shill bidding the 1st time to ebay under his stereooptions ID that ebay banned).


He's gotten a little more clever now that 2 IDs on ebay were banned and creates false IDs with false addresses (apparently he was niave enough to create his initial scam under the same address and name). Basicly ebay doesn't do anything if the registered IDs have different names and addresses so in theory you can create an ID a day. Apparently ebay doesn't bother to investigate further to see who the real registered owner is of the new IDs (and the email ID they get tied to)

Then again, ebay just wants their money it seems and doesn't care as much about who gets scammed in the process.

no worries, you are one of many people who mistakenly thought the same thing.. thus I'm actually happy my ID on vortex is dead now...


BTW: I'm a 'her' and used to own a beautiful yellow NB and HE is a 'he' who has and still does own a WHITE NB in California. I spoke with a few people who had met him at local meets in California and apparently he got into some confrontations about his scams there in front of several witnesses I spoke with through email or PMs.

oddly enough I was just looking to see how much this type of software would cost.. go figure!

...that or integrate a COPYRIGHT right ON each photo (which is totally legal for me to do on photos I take myself)

Yes...thank you very much. THinking back there was something that HE posted at one time that I was interested in buying and the location was listed as a chicago location. When I asked about picking the item up he said that he was really in Cali. I thought that was a bit odd and didn't bother following through with it..... Some people. WTF?

yup.. I got an IRATE IM/PM from some guy once on vortex who bought from him saying he intended to show up at my home since he knew where I lived (I told the guy back in PM that if he had a california address, then by all means -- show up at his doorstep because it's not me but if he was mistaking me with him and showed up at MY doorstep in the Chicago area with criminal intent, that he'd be facing criminal charges along with my shotgun aimed at him if he broke into my home).. (it was a VERY irate PM -- turned out he had a california residence addy he rattled back at me (don't know if it was legit) so I told him no problem for me since I was in a different state and different person and different GENDER!)

The IRATE guy did not live in Illinois OR California so I have no idea if the guy ever made good on his threat and I honestly don't remember the ID or the circumstances but it was at least a year ago that it happened...
