will the b&m work with both types of shift mechanisms (old and new) since it is the shifter assembly and not the counterweight?

So it'll fit a 1.8T. If the same rules apply as the Neuspeed...would this fit a 2.0?? If so....i have a decision to make.

My B+M is different. So It won't fit on '99s, at elast early 99's.
The easy way to check is to lift up the shift boot, if you see a ball, you have the mk4 shifter, if you see a buncha linkage, you have the mk3 vr6 linkage  Check out my pic thread to see what the '99 b+m looks like

notice any gain or loss of hp with this system, been hearing lots of bad tyhings about cai's on NB's. how much for shipping to northeast PA 18630 and how would i pay? How much is this system new?
