Out of curiosity, does your NB have tiptronic? If so, how did you get the shift knob off?

I have a tiptronic shifter and it looks just like that except I have a silver button and his appears black. At first blush, it looks the same. That's why I asked. I'll wait for him to respond. Thanks!

yes thats a tiptronic knob the button is pushed in , in the pic, i pmed you on how to get the knob off

nevermind, i found out through the dealer that it wont work for my car; Thanks anyway.
