but if it were animated it'd be a disaster like the FIRST attempt at a movie version. Anyone see it? I own it. It's really pretty bad.

Oh yeah, the new concept Camaro is supposed to be in the film.

Yeah. Ive seen it - the animated movie.

I think that if the right studio were to do it ... it could possibly bring 2D animation back to life. Have it have a more 'mature' theme (not talking sex and such just ... not 'kid' oriented). To me it will be like the Garfield movies. Live action mixed with 3D robots (the stunts and such - Special FX).

I could be wrong & I hope they prove me wrong. ...

Alright the trailer was ok, but hey it's a Teaser trailer. As for the original movie, I am a total Transformer buff. I loved the cartoon and I personally loved the movie. Autobots and Decepticons died and it was a nice movie to bring in a new era of characters. I am all about a live action version. Michael Bay helms the movie which means it's gonna be action packed. I am all over this movie. Glad to see I'm not the only 80's nerd around here.

Yes, you're right about the original movie. It was wild seeing central characters die. My problem with that was that they brought dead characters back to life in the TV series seemingly out of the blue. No continuity at all. That's my gripe with the original. Optimus Prime dies, but oh wait, two seasons later there he is again with all the new characters. Huh?!

Oh yeah, i've decided my Beetle needs some Autobot logos somewhere. Now to find them and not make me look too rice.
