Hi folks,

I'm in the USA from 23rd of July though 10th or so. Here's my "tour" dates:

July 23 (afternoon): Portland, OR, about a week
July 28 (afternoon): San Francisco, CA, about three days
August 1 (evening): Las Vegas, NV, about a week
August 7 (evening): Atlanta, GA, about three days
August 9 (evening): Salt Lake City, UT, 1 day
August 10 (evening): back to Melbourne, Australia

If anyone wants to catch up, please PM me or organize an event in the appropriate areas. I'd love to meet more nb.org folks

It's looking more and more likely that my migration to the US will take place eventually. However, this is just a short three week trip, the longest I will have spent in the USA. Sad really, especially as I like the place and people so much.

Thanks to Debbie (dyned) and her family for an awesome welcome in Portland, OR. She invited around Whitacre and his lovely Gecko TDI, and I got to check out the entire family of NB's, including Bill's lovingly cared for red NBC. Debbie came around this morning and we had a very yummy breakfast at what she called a truckstop, and I would call a restaurant.

Here's some photos for you folks!

My next stop is San Francisco. I'll be there tomorrow afternoon (as in Saturday), and will be in town until Tuesday. Then it's off to Vegas.

I am still trying to believe it! Andrew/Hoonbug at my house! Such a delightful accent, I love it!

It was so great to finally meet you, after "knowing" you for over four years over the 'net. I hope next time we can visit longer.

Here's good as well. I believe I owe the Capn a PM as well. It'd be totally awesome if I could meet a few folks in each place. I'm in deepest darkest SF now, and I've heard that there's heaps of people buying buys in CA, but so far, no sightings. Need to go out and look harder.

Monday isn't a traditional night for a GTG, but Aug 7 seems to be the best day among Aug 7-9.

I was lucky enough to meet Andrew and Tanya!! I was their photographer for their wedding!! Wonderful people! Very nice and a lot of fun! So yes! If you get the chance, MEET ANDREW!!
