What's everyone doing for vacation this year?
I just got back from Yellowstone about an hour ago. Along the way camped in Durango Co.,Flaming Gorge N.P., Grand Teton N.P.
It was all very beutiful. 3,600 mile round trip. Driving my Nissan Armada pulling a pop-up camper. Spent about $700 on gas

No vacation! BaldyLox got promoted, so vacation plans are off. We will have to wait for our naughty trip to Vegas in September! Woo-hooooo!

Pssst.....I'll bet you had a blast! Yellowstone is really beautiful this time of year!

I have family on St Simons Island here in GA, so that's probably where I'll end up.

I'm DYING to go to Vegas. Never been. I just got my "companion pass" from my brother. He works for Delta.... I keep saying I'm going to break my pass in with a trip there

Only ever had one holiday abroad in my life, to Eurodisney (not counting a weekend working with a motorbike stunt team in Gurnsey). This year mum has managed to swing a grant for a teacher exchange to Africa, so I'm going on my very first flight next week, to Uganda

Going to sunny Florida for a few days in mid August, then off to Ocean City up here for a little while after I get back from FL, then the Berea GTG in early Sept, then back to Ocean City for H2O the end of Sept.

My summer is just starting!

My summerholiday has already been. I went to Florida for a wedding the end of May and 'ended up' in New York

Early September I will go for the weekend to Iceland for (yes another) wedding. When I come back on Monday, I want to go for a 2 day citytrip to Vienna on Tuesday

3 nights in Las Vegas, 4 nights in LA, 3 nights in Sedona, AZ, then one more night in Vegas... then, sadly, back home...

beach week in the Outer Banks with friends after #2 daughter's HS graduation last month...i'll be doing that kind of vacation (beach house, 1/2 block from the beach) again just as soon as i possibly can...

a few days in Wisconsin and Georgia this past week for family weddings.

a few more days in Wisconsin next month moving #1 daughter there for graduate school and my family "rebellion" in Green Bay...25 first cousins, associated aunts, uncles, friends, etc. etc. hehe. can't wait.

Drove Daisy to Columbus, Nebraska, for a friend's wedding. WAY too much corn, but the wedding ceremony and reception was beautiful. The reception was at her parents' house, on a lake, with open bar and great food. I went to get diesel, and the closest station with diesel only had "soy". That's all they call it - soy. The day after we returned from NE my mom and I flew to ABQ, NM to visit friends. We spent most of the time either in the pool or just hanging out in A/C! We did go up to Sandia Crest with 2 of the kids and saw a deer, a brown bear, tons of hummingbirds and a chipmunk eating some peanuts. That was very cool. The view is great. We were going to take the tram but with the kids, it was too expensive. I'd like to go back during the Balloon Festival.

I've had a couple vacations. I spent 4th of July week over at Morro Bay in a condo across the street from the beach, with our friends and their 13 yr old daughter. Back in March, I spent a week back in Florida in Merritt Island (visiting friends) and Jacksonville (business meeting and a couple days at the PGA Players Championship golf tournament. The first of Feb, I went to Maui for a couple days. No other plans for this year. Next trip is to Aspen, Co when they have Winterskol, next Jan.....then back to Jacksonville, Fl next May, of which I plan to spend a couple days down in Key West.

I'm going to Aspen, CO from the 18th-24th of August. In September I'm going to Lake Como Italy. That's about it vacation wise. I am going to Berea OH in September too

In late September, Darling Hubby and I are flying over to Tampa, getting a 'vert rental car, going over to St. Petersburg - then taking a very slow drive down the Florida bayside coast line down into The Keys (spread out over 5 days).. ending up in Key West were we will spend 5 nights watching the sunrise/sunset with nice yummy cocktails on the warm, white sandy beaches... aaaaauuuuhhh

I'm taking my vacations from Aug 17-25 We can have a vacation date! ...in different states.

I already went on my real vacation for the summer...went to OC for a week with my boyfriend shortly after we got back from college in May and it was a blast! Weather wasn't perfect but we were there the weekend and week before Memorial day so it wasn't on season yet...not many people but still a lot open. Just a really nice time to just chill and take a break from school. Next weekend though, me and my boyfriend are going to Deep Creek Lake for our 4 year anniversary . He's an outdoorsy kinda person and I love Deep Creek. Its just beautiful and I can't wait. Only going for the weekend but its our last vacation until college starts back up. Hoping to head to Carolina beach once this fall, since my boyfriend's dad has a condo there and I haven't been there yet. Dunno what else. Maybe to Asheville in the mountains in NC sometime. Both of those after college starts so we'll see.

We spent a little time on Marco Island, Florida on a company trip... and we've spent several weekends back and forth to the North Carolina mountains (taking kids to and from camp).

I love the whole Tetons and Yellowstone area. It's my favorite place outside of the Blue Ridge Mountains. I loved our trip out to Montana and Wyoming (Last summer) so much that I composed and recorded an entire album about my experiences there. I'd recommend the trip out there to anyone!
