Default It's Fall!!!

This is my favorite time of year! The weather REALLY cooled off this weekend. Down in the 50's and lower 60's. Nice change after a summer of record 90+ days.

Went out this weekend and got some pumpkins. Planted fall mums last weekend (my favorite flowers).

So, thought I'd share some pictures!

I must say, I have been depressed as of late. I am in mourning for loosing summer.

But, thank you for cheering me up, Pete. I am now actually looking forward to the cooler days, and sweatshirts and pumpkin pie (thanks to CGB!). So maybe it won't be so bad. Thank you!

ick, try living in TX and you'll be happy to see summer go.

We were still having triple digit temps last week!

We got a bit of a cool front in that lasted a good two days, and now creeping back up into the 80s as of today.

I for one am really looking forward to the cooler weather. It was even cool enough to go out and give Kryptie a good bath! (and at almost 8 months pregnant, that is no easy task!)

The flowers look great Pete!

I love the way how you, Americans, decorate for fall (and Halloween).

It's coming here as well, but it's not so nice as where you are.

I'm trying to copy hehehe

When we went to the farm to pick out pumpkins, they also have TONS of fall decorations/crafts. I picked up this little guy.

If you've ever watched the credits at the end of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, or Angel, you'd understand this. I followed my mom and sister around the place the rest of our time there, carrying my monster, saying, "Grrrrr. Arrrgh."

No, no credits after these shows as commercials start immediately after the first letter of the credits comes up.....

I love your pics!!! Fall is my favorite season. The past two days here in bama have been on the cool side-lovin it! I say on the cool side, in the upper 60's. Tired of those 90's.

Pete, you've got your house looking great! I know how much you LOVE Fall and all, but I've really been dragging around lately (more than usual) because of the lack of sunlight. Its been cool and cloudy here for the past several days and I'm really missing the 70ºs. I guess I can spend the next 5 months looking forward to the Spring; which is my favorite time of the year.

Hmmm. I'm gonna have to train my dog to be an attack dog! Gotta protect my pumpkins and my bear! I need to take pics of all my Boyd's Bears. They're my favorite!

Do you guys get Edy's Ice Cream over there? If so, look for their Apple Pie Ice Cream. It's AWESOME!!!

It's been raining for the past two days straight, almost 3" already! Earlier this week we dipped into the mid 20's!

I love the rain and the cooler temps too!

I totally get it! I always used to laugh when that little monster/mummy thing at the end went: "Grrrrr. Arrrrgh." So cute. Did you see Tara do that with a similar finger puppet at the airport when Giles went to England? It cracked me up.
