That appears to be Platinum Gray, not Dark Flint.

looks like vw had some leftover red tops and interiors from the dark flint editions. Definately looks as good on plat grey as on flint grey.

it actually looks better without the take5's. But that's just my opinion, amd that's a rare thing that i think that a bug looks better without the take 5's.

Someone chain me down! If I stare at those red concept wheels some more, I'll move to Belgium! The whole thing makes me drool, but the wheels are exactly what'll keep me up at night. Sweeeeet!

That is not a dark flint on the pictures I've posted, that's a 'regular' NBC II with the red top and red leather

The red top is available in combination with :

Deep black Pearl
Campanelle White
Platina Grey
Black
Reflex Silver


I have the black NBC TDI, with the black top, but if something ever happens to the top, and it needs replacement, I'll definitely go for the red top !
