Default I killed bambi.

My poor beetle. I dont have a camera, but if I did I would show the carnage.

After breaking my drivers side headlight and marker light, and denting my hood, and cracking my fender, the poor deer added insult to injury by smearing feces all over my door.

I think I want to curl up into a little ball and die.

Maybe ille win the lottery wenesday. Yea. After my luck gets realy bad something good usualy happens.

That ... sucks.

I dont mean to sound silly but ... ever watched South Park ... and, when Chef dies ... he craps himself. I just keep picturing your story in South Park style .... but a deer taking a poop all over your door. 0_o

I hope everything gets fixed ASAP! *hugs*

I feel your pain But think of it this way:
When life hands you lemons, make lemonade.
When a deer harms and insults your NB, make deer burgers
They say revenge is a dish best enjoyed cold, but I recommend these HOT off the grill. That'll show that awful deer.

OMG, that is soo funny, like after you stopped and were next to the deer, it took a poop and spattered all over the side of your car.

Sorry about your car and the deer, but that refernce to south park made my day.

I think i gotta watch Something Wal-Mart this way comes now.

If it makes you feel any better, I killed a possum 2 weeks ago, or at lest i felt it's head thud againt my steel skid plate when i was doin 45. It wasnt intential, it was almost off the street and then turned around and went under my car, and i had not time to stop.

I almost ran over thumper's cousin last week in one of our work trucks, rather than crossing the road he decided it was better to run down the road to get away from the truck. I do have to say though that guy was going fast ~25 mph

Dude I know exactly what you're going through, same thing happened to me in November. I whacked one of those things going 70mph, had to get me a new hood. Best piece of advice: be sure to take your car to a GOOD BODY SHOP!! Mine sucked, I'm still trying to get things straightened out

Sorry about your misfortunes but as everyone says, cars can be repaired, YOU can not! Glad you're ok

I had the misfortune of striking 2 deer on the same road, 1 month apart. Nicknamed deerslayer for it.. 5 years before that I was a passenger in a vehicle that hit a moose.. Lets just say that after witnessing what a head of a moose did to a 3 ton van at 60... you sure as heck don't ever want to mess with one of those in a beetle..

I was also in a stopped vehicle... squeeling to a stop... and the fawn just ran head first into the front tire. DUH... no wonder they get hit... Don't worry.. that one ran off.. bit dazzled tho...

Last year on Christmas day night about midnight, I was driving on my sister's private road, and I was going about 50 or so... The speed limit is "spose" to be 35, her rule. The road is a straight road, and nothing ever bad happens... A horse came outta nowhere.. It scared the heck outta me. This thing was huge, and it was so dark outside. Its a good thing my brakes worked very well, and I did not hit the poor thing. After a while, and me telling the horse how sorry I was, it finally walked with me back to his field.

I cant imagine hitting a deer or any kind of big animal. I think I would have a heart attack.

Glad your okay...

I grew up in the country and instead of saying "I hit a deer" people there say "A deer hit me" b/c they usually run into the side of vehicles... My dad's been hit 3 times, always on the side of his truck, never the front...
